At Walhampton, LAMDA is taught by:

· Sophie Gordon

· Kitty Love

· Fiona Walker

Each teacher has their own areas of expertise and professional experience and will be allocated to pupils accordingly. With any administrative or timetabling queries in the first instance please forward them to Anna Usher (a.usher@walhampton.com) .

Signing up

Please email Anna Usher, a.usher@walhampton.com. All LAMDA spaces are currently full, but your child will be added to a waiting list if they are interested.

LAMDA

LAMDA examinations are run by a London Drama School of the same name throughout the country and are designed to equip candidates, whatever their age or aspirations, with a range of skills that will serve them throughout life.

Exams

There will be one exam sitting annually with an external examiner. All exam information will be in your child’s folder or emailed as soon as the exam is booked and your child is ready.

Billing, notice and timetables

The LAMDA classes and exam fee will be added to your bill. Sessions can be individual or in pairs. These sessions are 25 minutes. Entry for exams carries with it an additional charge which will be added to your school bill.

If you wish to withdraw from LAMDA, we require a half term’s notice. We have a number of pupils on the waiting list and would like to be able to allocate quickly and efficiently. Your co-operation with this is greatly appreciated.

Times of the LAMDA lessons are fixed and do not clash with any core curriculum lessons. If you know that your child is going to be absent due to a scheduled appointment such as the Doctor or Dentist, please contact me (a.usher@walhampton.com) in order to let the teacher know.
